1. Overview and Core Philosophy

CherryChic ("we", "our", or "the Service") is built around privacy-first principles. We do not require account registration, do not collect email addresses to use our download tools, and do not profile individual user browsing habits.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect names, credit card details, phone numbers, or passwords.
• We do not require access to your personal YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, or any third-party platform credentials.
• We do not retain permanent archives or logs linking individual user identities with downloaded media URLs.

3. Temporary Server Data & Automatic File Cleanup

To process high-resolution video and audio formats (such as combining separate YouTube or Reddit streams into an MP4), media files are downloaded temporarily to an isolated partition on our server.

These temporary files are identified by cryptographic job tokens and are automatically deleted immediately after download or within a maximum retention window of 30 minutes. We do not maintain any long-term video repository.

4. Abuse Mitigation & Security Verification

To protect CherryChic from denial-of-service attacks, automated scrapers, and malicious bot activity, we use Cloudflare Turnstile and server-side rate limiters. Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates browser telemetry to verify human users without invasive cookies or harvesting personal biometric information.

5. Cookies and Web Analytics

CherryChic uses minimal technical cookies necessary for session state (such as security tokens). If non-intrusive analytics or sponsorship banners are enabled in the future, they will comply with standard data protection regulations and will never track you across unrelated websites.
